LUSH - Blackberry Bath Bomb

Lush Says
'As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing.'

This is one of those bath bombs that I simply picked up for the price to fill my basket a bit more but like all bath bombs I don't read what it does, what it has in it etc.
I give it a sniff and if my nose approves in the basket it goes, popping it in my bath instantly turned into a lovely shade of purple with random little bits that looked like little drops of ink BUT there was also this strange blotches of a kind of film floating around the bath too, I can't even think of a way to describe so I've provided a picture below.
Once I'd jumped in the tub they did eventually disappear but when I lifted my leg I had random streaks of purple across my body, luckily with a bit of body wash it came off but cut my bath short as I just wanted to get out. The strange kind of film had also started sticking to the side of my bath which only meant one thing the longer I was in the harder it would have been to remove from the sides of the bath.

To make up for all the staining this bath bomb did kind of make up for it with a little surprise!

Despite all its cons after reading the uses of some of the ingredients used for Anxiety I think I will repurchase and put it aside for a day that I'm struggling with my anxiety a bit more than on a usual day.
Just to see if it helps in anyway.

LUSH - Luxury Lush Pud

 Lush Says...
'This year, our Lil' Lush Pud has had a luxurious makeover... with a soothing lavender fragrance and calming pastel colours, this bath bomb is perfect for bed time, or any time you want to relax. This bath bomb shares a fragrance with our Twilight bath bomb. With lavender oil, ylang ylang and tonka absolute, you'll be soothed and calmed as little islands of colour float out into your bath water.'

I know I'm pretty late with this one as christmas has been and gone now but I'm only just making my way through my christmas bath bombs, Each time I had a bath through out the christmas period I just wanted to get in already rather than taking photos before hand so never used them and saved them for when I had my camera to hand (bad blogger).
I had luxury lush pud last year when the bottom was purple and loved it so it goes without saying it was a must have this year too, This year was no different to last year the burst of colourful enough to get anyone excited to jump in. I was even accused by Issy of making my baths more fun then theirs naughty mummy so the luxury lush pud is without a doubt on the girls list for next year too.
As promised it leaves you perfectly relaxed ready for bed or whenever you really want to relax,
Better yet a bath full of so many colours and you don't need to spend the next 1O minutes scrubbing the bath to get the colour off when you get out PERFECT!

LUSH - Sparkler Bath Bomb

As soon as I saw sparkler I was really excited to purchase and use it, I had alot of high hopes for it!
I finally used it the other night in the girls bath (I'm really late I know)
I don't know if it's because it has sat for some time but I was really disappointed unlike northern lights it didn't wizz around or resemble a sparkler at all. It frothed and hardly moved again I don't know if this is because it had sat for some time rather than being used shortly after purchase, tbh in the photos I took it looked like the girls had an accident in the bath rather than a bath bomb which is never pleasant.  When it eventually came into life it still didn't wizz around like usual when they reach the inside, it just sat pretty lifeless so I gave it the extra oomf!
It turned the bath a yellow colour which the girls said was wee *insert monkey covering eyes emoji here*
It left the bottom of the bath covered in glitter which if my mum saw would send her into a total freak out! I was expecting to be there for some time scrubbing the bath trying to get rid of it all but with a quick run round with the shower the bath looked brand new again.
I'm gutted I didn't use it sooner, I think I'd repurchase again next year to see if it actually was down to it sitting for so long and reading other reviews on it.

Did you get your hands on sparkler this year?

LUSH - Lord of Misrule

Inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine begins flowing, the revelry really begins! Popping candies fizz and crackle, creating a world of magic and mischief right before your eyes.

I'm pretty sure I paid £3.5O but it's no longer on the lush website as Lord of misrule is one of their Halloween bath bombs so I can't be 1OO% sure.
I grabbed lord of misrule on my most recent trip to lush in Bromley they didn't have many of the ones I set out to buy but I finally got my hands on this one!
Pink was one colour I didn't expect to see but as always LUSH always pack their bath bombs with all sorts of surprises, I loved how it left my bath looking like a watermelon until I climbed in and mixed it all together.
I won't need to go into to much detail on colours etc as I have the video of my one up on my you tube
YAY!

LUSH - Shoot for the stars

'Paint the swirling colours of the night sky over the surface of your bathwater with this multi-coloured bath bomb. Drop this in your bathwater and watch it shoot around the bath releasing multiple colours before leaving a trail of quicksilver. As the spinning and swirling orb comes to a standstill, enjoy the sweet scent found in Honey I Washed The Kids and the calming, shimmering midnight blue water.'

£3.5O each
When I attended the Bluewater LUSH event (which you can read all about here)
I grabbed myself shoot for the stars I did have a video of it in action but as Andy's new to his gopro it ended up getting lost :( so I HAVE to repurchase just so we can retake it right?
I thought I'd got some pictures with my camera but seems I didn't so my naff phone camera shot will have to do!
WOW just really doesn't cover this one! I know I say it a lot but honestly if you've used this bath bomb I'm sure you'll agree.
Not only did it leave my bath all sorts of gorgeous colours, it left the bottom of my bath pitch black like a night sky and the top a deep blue I thought it came from the random bike part Andy used to hold down the gopro but it was the bathbomb not only did it look like a night sky there was also a mixture of different size stars AND glitter!!!
I didn't actually get in the bath as Andy was just testing out his new camera so I can't comment on how it left my skin but I left the water in the tub for the rest of the evening just for that extra test and it didn't leave a mark, a part from glitter you'd never have guessed my bath was full of black water for a whole night.
This is a must purchase this year if you haven't grabbed yourself one yet go get one!

Have you tried any of this years LUSH christmas range?

LUSH - Northern Lights

'Escape into relaxation with this bath bomb that gives an impressive display no matter where you are in the world. As the ends fizz away, the middle slowly dissolves to reveal blue and neon green, turning your water into a calming jasmine and ylang ylang-scented swirling night sky scattered with stars.'

£3.5O each
The minute I saw this bath bomb and read its name I just knew it wouldn't disappoint and it had to come home with me, Andy said not so long ago about wanting to go and see the northern lights me being the dits that I am thought we'd actually have to go up north to Newcastle. As you can imagine this left him in one of his many fits of giggles with the things I come out with, The minute the bath bomb hit the water it went on one of those crazy spinny circles that they often do bursting with gorgeous colours which had me squealing like a little piglet with delight.
The smell was amazing, the mixture of different sized stars floating in my bath added that extra cutesy touch and it left my bath like a big glass of blackcurrant it took all I had not to pretend I was in a ribena advert.
As expected this bath bomb really didn't disappoint in the slightest, Will so be stocking up before they disappear out of lush stores.
AND the thing we always want after using a bath bomb not one stain was left in the bath.

LUSH - Avobath

'Avobath in the morning to help you face the day: its lemongrass and bergamot oils will pick you up while also tackling dryness with avocado and olive oil. It contains lustre, which gives a shimmering green effect to the water, but will leave your skin feeling dazzling without the dazzle. It also contains lots of mashed avocado and olive oil to tackle dehydration, making this an excellent choice for dry skin sufferers.'

I grabbed Avobath in my latest LUSH haul, It wasn't one I planned to get so I didn't read up on what it was meant to do or what it's features were but I smelt it and it just had to go in my basket. Me being me not knowing anything about the bath bomb used it in the evening once the girls had gone to bed, no wonder I wasn't ready for bed at the usual time I'm crawling to bed *insert monkey hiding face smiley*
The smell was just amazing it has to be the most strongest bath bomb I've purchased yet smell wise,
As you may well know green is my faveorite colour so the gorgeous shade of green it left my bath water was amazing for me even if Andy did come in and say it looked like I was sat in slime.
Once I'd climbed in I noticed little chunks of something floating in the bath with me first thoughts were 'urgh' but when I finally caught some it looked like some kind of fruit chunk then I noticed the glittery/shimmery effect and it changed to 'oohhh'
While in the tub I noticed some slight staining round the edges of the bath but nothing a wipe over wouldn't sort.

I'd happily buy this bath bomb again just for its scent although it was a bit over bearing at times, my room still smells amazing!
You can purchase Avobath either in a LUSH store or online for £3.25

LUSH Granny takes a dip

Granny takes a dip £3.25
This ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath bomb turns your water psychedelic and puts some colour in your life. Simply drop into a warm bath and watch as its fizzing centre dissolves into multi-coloured waters. Its spicy, citrusy scent will pep you up: lemon oil boosts the mood, while ginger and pepper are warming.

I finally got round to using my granny takes a dip bath bomb!
I wasn't disapointed although it didn't fizz and spin as crazily as other bath bombs but how often is it you see a granny going nuts in the middle of a rave?
The explosion of colour is amazing and the smell is just umpf...
You could easily break it in half to use another time but I was greedy and put mine in whole but if your going for a quick dip you can just break some off and leave the rest for another bath or two.
As it's a fairly big bath bomb
I'm a big kid when it comes to bath-bombs so for the explosion of colour alone I'd definitely repurchase!

Have you tried something new from LUSH lately?

LUSH - Sakura

This morning I got to use my sakura bath bomb and to be totally honest the child in me was totally disappointed :(
I thought with all those pink and the random blue specks I'd be in for a nice colourful bath but I was wrong.
It turned the water a musky sort of colour but the smell was just amazing!
I have a blocked nose but what I could smell was delicious it smelt as if i'd opened loads of those huge sherbert sticks. For that reason alone I'd repurchase.
I must add I never got to the centre of this bath bomb so if there is a surprise in the centre I totally missed it as Daisie seems to have a thing about not letting bath bombs totally finishing I have to keep putting them back in without her realizing and as she was in charge of my bath bomb this morning her rules had to be kept and there's still some of it on the side of the bath waiting for me to jump back in the tub a little later once the girls are asleep.

LUSH - Fluffy Egg

'The perfect antidote to overindulgence at Easter. This is Lush's answer to a chocolate Easter egg; a pretty pink, sugary sweet, candy-scented bath bomb. Drop this sweet little egg into warm water for fizzing pink, candy scented fun.'

I was meant to be keeping this bath bomb for the girls to use closer to easter
but when I told the girls to pick a bath bomb from the cake stand and they both chose fluffy egg,
Of course when you have two little cuties smiling away saying please you just can't say no.
This bath bomb was another disappointing one for me personally
as I said before in my 'LUSH SECRET GARDEN' post
I'm not one for reading what a bathbomb does, what it smells like or what to expect
but with these one I was expecting some kind of surprise inside be it a different colour or some sprinkles
maybe I'm just to much of  a big kid.
There wasn't alot of fizzing with fluffy egg :(
The colour it turned the bath water to was pretty disappointing too, This one's colour was nothing like the colour think pink turns the water
I guess the bigger egg bath bombs has all the surprises inside so I guess I'll have to purchase those soon.

Overall I think I would purchase this bath bomb again for the girls as an easter treat.
