The Christmas Decoration SALES have started!

Stags/reindeer's £2 each, Star £2, Silver bows £1,Leaf tree decs 5Op,Wooden tree decs 5Op,Pink stag tree dec 75p and Red tree dec 5Op

Yesterday while having my usual wander around wilkos to pass a bit of time before the last school run of the day it was only right that I paid the christmas isle a little visit.
After only being there that morning I didn't expect to find anything different considering I go in there everyday but to my surprise all of their decorations were now 5O% off!!!
They were amazing prices before that so it would have been rude of me not to grab some wouldn't it?
THEN I popped into ASDA as I had some more time to pass there were those beautiful christmas cards down to £1 it goes without saying that a set of those beauties went straight into my basket!
I've found myself stalking all shops that sell christmas stuff for any reduced items, I've noticed loads half price on the ASDA website but not many in store yet so be sure to check online first!

 £2.5O
I fell in love with this the first time I saw it but we already had stockings so I never got it but as soon as I saw it was half price it was a sign that it had to come home with me! I'm dying to get my hands on another one to go the other side of my console table.

Bedding set £6 and cards £1 from ASDA

Tartan VS Pastel Christmas '14

Tartan VS Pastel Christmas '14

This year I was pretty sure my mind was made up on having our white tree up with tartan decorations, me and the girls wearing tartan dresses for christmas dinner BUT then I imagined a white tree with pastel decorations which also looks gorgeous in my mind!
I've gone crazy on tartan so it's likely tartan will win the battle but I am thinking of a 3FT white tree somewhere with pastel decorations so I can be naughty and have the two.
Isn't one of the rules as a woman if you can't decide go with both? As nothing haunts us more then the things we didn't buy etc?
Each of these items can be found on the Wilkos & Asda website apart frim the tartan heart and star tree decorations they are from poundland which I've already grabbed myself.

What colour scheme would you go for out of the two?
What colours are you going for this year?

George @Asda - Hello Kitty school uniform range

George @Asda - Hello Kitty school uniform range

If your a mumma with a little lady of school age, I'm sure you've seen the new hello kitty school uniform range in Asda.
My mum grabbed a cardigan for Issy yesterday and the quality is amazing and the price is even better!
Usually as soon as a well known character is added to something the price rockets but the prices for polos, skirts, trousers and cardigans are only £1-£2 extra than the normal george school range.
Issy's cardigan cost £5 just £1 extra than the normal plain ones available.
The shoes being just £2 extra than most of the shoes available too, I paid £19 on Issy's first pair of school shoes that were hello kitty from eBay

Each items has a little hello kitty logo embroidered into the corners of the tops, cardigans and dresses the skirt and trousers being the pocket or a belt with a hello kitty head on (as I typed that I noticed I missed the trousers out of the picture ooppss)
the logo varies from just Kitty's face to a picture of her standing.
Each logo is discreet enough to still comply with school rules but still noticeable on further inspection

Maternity wear

Maternity wear

With baby number #3 being spoke about daily and making a decision that we are happy and feel ready to start trying once my injection has worn off, I thought I'd take a peek at what sort of maternity wear was available. I never wore maternity clothes with the girls but looking back I really wish I did!
There's so much stylish stuff available back in 2OO7 when I was pregnant with Issy it all seemed horrendous and very plain although I had quite big bumps the hair band trick and a good pair of leggings worked for me but with baby number 3 I think I'd feel so much more glam in some maternity wear.

Picnic Pastels

I made the mistake of going down the summer/spring isle in asda the other day
and came across the most gorgeous picnic stuff.
I fell in love with the fold away lunch bags and cool bag so just had to go back for them,
I really need to go and grab the gorgeous plates, bowels and cups they have in too
all in gorgeous polka dot pastels! I'm likely to use them as everyday plates for the girls tho
I plan to do lots of park picnic trips with the girls this summer so was on the look out for a cool bag to hold all of our stuff and this was just perfect.
The little lunch bags also came in pastel gingham sort of pattern too and many other colours,
I've tried to find them online so I could show you the full range but I'm having no luck in finding them online :(

The cuteness of the little lunch bags there was no way I was leaving them behind
I can see the girls strolling along with them in hand now :')
Although it's likely to be bundled on the buggy if I know my girls.
They are the perfect size for a little lunch for little ones and can be easily carried by them too,
Each bag folds down nice and flat and velcro's shut perfect for when they are empty making them so much easier to get home
What makes this range even more brilliant if you aren't already sold by the gorgeous colours is the price
The 15L cool bag is a bank breaking £3 and the little lunch bags £1.5O each

Lighting Love

Lighting Love

Seeing such gorgeous lamps & light shades for such amazing prices
makes me wish I had more rooms in my house so I could have them all :(
Each of these shades and lamps can be found here at George home
Each one in my picture is an option for the girls room once I've redecorated (again) I just need to decide which shade and which lamp to go for.
The rabbit may have to go in my room tho as my girls are little destroyers and will have the lamp off and the rabbit in half within minutes of it being bed time.

Mini kids haul

Today we had a totally unexpected trip to bromley, I said I wouldn't shop at all as we was only going for the soft play and a mc'donalds for the girls.
BUT come on now it's like tying a dog outside a butchers and not coming out with a treat for him/her with me when it comes to shopping.
Of course I was just nipping in for a quick look round but each shop I went in I came out with some bargains
(I only went into 2 I didn't want to walk out of the others crying over the bargains I'd be missing)
Anyway enough of my nagging here's what I got :)

ZARA
High tops - £7.99 down from £25.99
Jeggings - £2.99 down from £9.99
Black leggings with a leather look stripe down the sides - £2.99 down from £7.99
Brown leggings £2.99 down from £7.99

Over all saving of £35!!
These were my FIRST ever zara purchases so I'm really chuffed with my saving.

H&M
White footless tights £1 NO TAG so I don't know the original price of those
2x Tiger jumper - £4 each down from £7.99
2x Cat t-shirt - £2.99

Only the tights & Jumpers were in the sale.

The floral leggings and navy leggings I grabbed the other week but thought I'd include them
both of those came from ASDA and were £3 each :)

Please excuse the unsightly blue mark and mucky looking stain on my rug, Daisie painted my living room blue the other morning and the other unsightly mark is from my friend dropping hair dye on it :(
On the hunt for a new rug!

BARGAIN BUY!!

After looking in the kids section of Asda for some winter boots for the girls I spotted these beauties, I fell in love and was over the moon they went up to a six but noticing the price tag of £15 which is a total bargain but I'm never up for spending that sort of money on one item for myself. I'm quite the tight bum when it comes to buying myself things and Andy has to pretty much force me!! After going back to stare at them everyday Andy urged me to buy them so I did. I'm going to be buying Issy a pair next week as she said this morning she likes my boots :') I showed her a pair similar I fell in love with for her before and she screwed her nose up at me and said no :(

These are the most comfortable boots ever!! and for £15 you really can't go wrong if these were in the adults section I'd imagine there would be another £1O on top of that £15 so I'll be a regular down the kids shoe isle of asda from now on :)
