Things to do this summer '14

Dare I say it? with the weather warming up I thought I'd put a list together of all the things I plan to do with the girls this summer :)

- Race sunflowers  (Of course you don't run around with them but pot them and see how high they grow)

- Go to the beach 

- Plenty of park trips
- Feed the ducks
- Visit a farm
- Go for picnics
- Go swimming
- Have a bug hunt
 - Go to the zoo
- Decorate more plant pots
- Go scooting
- Do plenty of pavement chalking
- Go to London aquarium
- Go to M&M world
- Go to museums

Big sister hamper

With talks of trying for baby number 3 I thought I'd share the big sister hamper from Daisie I done up for Issy in the run up to Daisie's birth.

Of course when it comes to having another baby all sorts of worries go through your mind, will they feel pushed out? will they take badly to having a brother/sister? will they feel less loved? the list goes on.

So through out my pregnancy I stocked up on things to add to a little hamper to keep Issy super busy in the early days of us coming home or while I'm in hospital if for any reason I was to be kept in,

It's likely I've missed some bits as it was 3 years or so ago!

The tops made Issy feel really special and part of the team, everywhere we went she told everyone she was a big sister and to come and stroke her baby sister lol,  she loved feeding Daisie at every chance she got (I even woke up to her doing a night feed with daddys help of course) 

helping out with nappy changes and bath times.

Alot of the little colouring packs, magnetic calendar, pens & pencils etc cost as little as £1.5O or so alot of it I grabbed from ebay :)

Maternity wear

With baby number #3 being spoke about daily and making a decision that we are happy and feel ready to start trying once my injection has worn off, I thought I'd take a peek at what sort of maternity wear was available. I never wore maternity clothes with the girls but looking back I really wish I did!

There's so much stylish stuff available back in 2OO7 when I was pregnant with Issy it all seemed horrendous and very plain although I had quite big bumps the hair band trick and a good pair of leggings worked for me but with baby number 3 I think I'd feel so much more glam in some maternity wear.

How long will I love you.....

As long as stars are above you And longer, if I can!

I don't know if it's just me but I spend most of my nights with soppy music playing while getting emotional looking back at pictures of my girls and thinking about how much my girls have grown and how much they've changed.

How many things I got wrong, how many things I'd like to go back and change, how many things I could have handled better, What I can do to improve myself as a mum and so on...

Superdrug currently have a 3 for 2 on cosmetics offer on so of course I indulged in the offer a little bit, I'm hoping it's still on during the week as there is some more bits I'd like to grab.
