Make shopping fun

Daisie hasn't stopped begging to go to nursery this morning (she doesn't start until september)
So Andy decided he'd take her to the shops instead so she's still out and not so restless.
Then it hit me why not make her up a fun little shopping list with pictures?
(I did grab a quick picture but the quality is awful and you can barely see as we done it all colourful in pencils which haven't been picked up to well)
So I  grabbed the best example I could find on google.
She loved the idea of having her own little list to tick off as they go round picking up items on the list :)
I was chuffed that she could recognize my attempt of a potato.
So off they went with her little shopping list and crayon in hand full of excitement!
We all know how stressful shopping with a bored and restless toddler/little one can be
This is something I plan to do every time the girls have to come shopping with me.
I'll update this post with pictures of Daisie with her shopping list in hand and our next trip out with her list.

Scuffity scuff

Today I went and grabbed the girls some new shoes before we headed to the park for the day,  because Issy's new sandals I bought from eBay her toes are hanging right off the ends and both girls are in serious need of some summer shoes.
Issy chose hers and was really chuffed with them
so when we got to subway she got changed into them, then we headed to Wilkinsons (a few feet away)
while I nipped in to get us some more plant pots to decorate
she stayed outside and played a small bit of football with Andy. I wasn't even gone for 5 minutes
and I came out to a tiny scuff and the front of her shoe gaping away at me!!
Playing football in them really wasn't daddy's wisest choice but I'd have hoped that
they could handle a small bit of football considering they are being worn by a child?
Issy is a super scuffer but never have they scuffed so quickly they literally had just over 5 minutes of wear :(
I still have the receipt and will be taking them back tomorrow to swap for another pair that hopefully can manage more than 5 minutes of wear.
Andy has said he will glue them but £7 and 5 minutes of wear at the most
really isn't that impressive at all.

We never did make it to the park as Daisie really isn't well at the moment.

Mini kids haul

Today we had a totally unexpected trip to bromley, I said I wouldn't shop at all as we was only going for the soft play and a mc'donalds for the girls.
BUT come on now it's like tying a dog outside a butchers and not coming out with a treat for him/her with me when it comes to shopping.
Of course I was just nipping in for a quick look round but each shop I went in I came out with some bargains
(I only went into 2 I didn't want to walk out of the others crying over the bargains I'd be missing)
Anyway enough of my nagging here's what I got :)

ZARA
High tops - £7.99 down from £25.99
Jeggings - £2.99 down from £9.99
Black leggings with a leather look stripe down the sides - £2.99 down from £7.99
Brown leggings £2.99 down from £7.99

Over all saving of £35!!
These were my FIRST ever zara purchases so I'm really chuffed with my saving.

H&M
White footless tights £1 NO TAG so I don't know the original price of those
2x Tiger jumper - £4 each down from £7.99
2x Cat t-shirt - £2.99

Only the tights & Jumpers were in the sale.

The floral leggings and navy leggings I grabbed the other week but thought I'd include them
both of those came from ASDA and were £3 each :)

Please excuse the unsightly blue mark and mucky looking stain on my rug, Daisie painted my living room blue the other morning and the other unsightly mark is from my friend dropping hair dye on it :(
On the hunt for a new rug!

Peppa pig bath fizzer

My girls are serious bath bomb addicts
so when I saw Christie's post on instagram of the peppa pig bath fizzer with free toy inside
I just had to track one down for Daisie, when I stopped looking for awhile i came across
some in my local asda so of course in my trolley it went.

The girls loved waiting to see what character they had got,
The main downfall to this bath fizzer was it brought Daisie out in a rash :(
If it didn't give Daisie a rash I would definitely buy this again
I may buy it again just for the figure inside and let the girls watch it fizz in the sink.

Colour me playhouse

I've seen these little houses all over instragram, So when I spotted them in my local Aldi I just had to get one for the girls, I was torn between putting it away for Christmas or letting them have it now as you can tell I was far to excited and gave it to them now :) They still haven't finished colouring it in a little while after starting it, the house fell silent for an hour and a half I had a peek in the house and both girls were glued to the tele. All tho it's made from cardboard it has kept my girls super quiet. I got abit carried away and coloured some of it in but I had to stop or Daisie wouldn't have any left to do on her side it's just so much fun. It may end up in the bin soon with it being cardboard and my girls being like bulls in china shops or if bear will actually go in it will become her little house. This has to be the best £7.99 I've ever spent.

Please excuse the bad quality photos I  grabbed them from my instagram

BARGAIN BUY!!

After looking in the kids section of Asda for some winter boots for the girls I spotted these beauties, I fell in love and was over the moon they went up to a six but noticing the price tag of £15 which is a total bargain but I'm never up for spending that sort of money on one item for myself. I'm quite the tight bum when it comes to buying myself things and Andy has to pretty much force me!! After going back to stare at them everyday Andy urged me to buy them so I did. I'm going to be buying Issy a pair next week as she said this morning she likes my boots :') I showed her a pair similar I fell in love with for her before and she screwed her nose up at me and said no :(

These are the most comfortable boots ever!! and for £15 you really can't go wrong if these were in the adults section I'd imagine there would be another £1O on top of that £15 so I'll be a regular down the kids shoe isle of asda from now on :)
