When anxiety takes over....

If your a regular reader of my blog a little while ago you'd have read about plans for baby number 3.
All was going well I came off my anxiety tablets and I stopped having my injection, Let the trying begin!
Well at least I thought that would be the case UNTIL...
Recently my household was struck with some kind of virus starting with Daisie and then there was me that randomly out of no where threw up :/
To begin with I'd been struggling with awful mouth ulcers 9 to be exact after daring to eat a tropical mouth ulcer and spent awhile in bed because the pain was awful so Andy sent me to bed every time I got up, then came the bad stomach.
But the sickness was strange because I was the only one with it, so even tho it takes weeks and weeks for me to get the right result from a pregnancy test and I haven't had a period for 3 years, I tested anyway you can guess the result Negative.
A day later I felt a little better then the next morning I was woken with a bad stomach and was sick again.
That was that my mind was made up no way in hell am I ever going to be able to survive a pregnancy with morning sickness, feeling a baby move again and the possibilty of a c-section.
Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE being pregnant, I loved everything about it while others just wanted their baby to come already I was happy to stay pregnant forever, I never had sickness with the girls so I was really lucky considering I have a sickness phobia but I was took the possibility of sickness in my stride to deal with if and whenever it occurred.
But now that is not even an option I can't even handle the thought of it how the hell am I going to cope if I was to have it?
So we've decided to wait and try once I'm in control of my anxiety about it all but for now anxiety is well and truly winning this one!

Preapring for the new school term

I know, I know the school holidays have only just begun why am I on about the new school term?
But I can't be the only mum going in full steam ahead with stocking up on school uniform while the stocks hot on the shelves?
So with the little pile stacking up ready I thought I'd do a post about the things I'd be lost without or the things in general that I stock up on in prep for the new school term.

Name labels are a MUST there's nothing worse than paying out a fortune on that perfect school cardigan with the school logo for it to go missing within the first week, Now I can't be dealing with the writing them in by hand just to smudge in the wash, the hand sewing them in just for them to come loose and fall off anyway so it's iron on labels all the way for me!
The best ones I've found available in 3 different colours come from ebay (link below), I had these labels when Issy started reception and they lasted well over the school year and are still holding on. With Daisie going to school and the logo'd cardigan still in good nick it's on Daisies clothes rail of the wardrobe waiting for her.

You can purchase the iron labels 'here'

Polo shirts Issy goes through these quicker than anything being white they end up covered in paint, dinners, deserts, mud you name it you will find some on that pristine white shirt you sent your little one into school with will without a doubt come home resembling something you'd come across after a football match by the end of the week, No matter what the school says that 'washable' paint they use isn't as washable as they think many of Issy shirts have been left with paint that refuses to come out.
Of course being white they can be bleached but luckily enough with places like asda selling a pack of 2 for £2.50 and studio catalogue a pack of 3 for £3.99 why not stock up?

Shoes Now if your a regular reading of my blog you would have seen a post of the state Issy's school shoes end up in, So for some the need to stock up on shoes isn't necessary but next week I am hitting primark and grabbing as many pairs as I can as back up!
She'll get her perfect pretty shoes that she will choose herself but once they are destroyed I really cannot justify £1O+ per pair for them to last a matter of weeks.

PE kit It's rare that Issy's PE kit ever comes home but at her parent's evening I noticed her PE bag hanging on her peg by a few threads (God knows what that poor bag went through)
You can pick up plimsoles for £3 a pair at tesco and asda.
Absolute god send when Issy has wrecked her last pair of shoes and has them in her PE bag at school which we depended on in the last week of the term just gone.
Issy chose a frozen bag for the term which cost a bank breaking £2.59 from yep you guessed it eBay!

Socks/Tights No matter how many pairs I seem to wash there's always one morning without a doubt in the week that we are running round like headless chickens trying to find a matching pair of socks sometimes we'll be lucky just to find the one! Where the hell do those buggers go?
I always put a pair of trainer socks in Issy's PE bag, I don't know if they ever get used but they are always packed.

Pretty hair bows/bands These are another one of those things that at the beginning of the term you have so many you spend most of your time picking the little buggers up but come the middle of the year it's rare you'll come across one, I love all the school bows available on yet again eBay, I tend to get Navy to match the school colours.

Nursery starters

With Daisie starting nursery in September I thought I'd include a little list of bits I have in for her, Although they aren't necessary she's seeing all the new school bits arrive for Issy I like to make sure she feels included too.

Backpack If your little one isn't fully potty changed it's handy to send them to nursery with a back pack with some pull ups, spare nickers and bottoms in.

Wellies The nursery Daisie will be attending has a rack of wellies for when it's wet and they go out to play but I have a spare pair of wellies to hand, So if she goes in on a wet day she can wear those ones and if they get left behind its no problem as we have the another set for home.

Umbrella There's nothing worse than waiting for your little bundle of joy to come running out with open arms with all their little creations and the heavens open up, so I plan to have a brolly that will stay on Daisie's peg for emergency use.

Bakerdays Win

A little while ago I entered a giveaway hosted by the lovely agentsmythblog
I had totally forgot I had entered until I received a tweet and an email letting me know I had won!!!
Up for grabs was a personalized letterbox cake, upon receiving my tweet I headed straight to the bakerdays website it took me half a day to decide what one to go for.
There is soo many designs to choose from it was almost impossible to decide.
I'm not much of a cake eater (awful female alert) so it seemed silly to have one made for myself as the girls only peel the icing off just like me and the cake goes to waste, so with my brother recently completing the British 1Ok run and the union jack flag one of the designs to choose from, it seemed the perfect idea to have cake made for him to put in his work lunch box or share with his own little family.
I went for the chocolate centre as it's a gift I can't provide photos of the inside which is a shame but I'm sure it's delicious!
Not only does your cake come in a gorgeous tin, you get a gorgeous little card with a little message and a little package of candles, balloons and a party blower.
I'm so in love with the tin would it be wrong to ask my brother to give me the tin back once his finished his cake?

Along with many cake designs to choose from there's also 5 different options for the inside of your cake
sponge, chocolate chip sponge cake made with only Belgium chocolate, fruit cake, Gluten wheat free and Dairy free and 4 different sizes.

The British Tag - How British Am I?

1.  How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars?
I don't like tea *insert monkey hiding eyes emoji*

2.  Favourite part of your roast?

Oohh toughy, I love it all whats not to love about a roast
but if i had to guess I guess it would have to be roast tatoes

Mc Vities Digestives and I'll only ever make a tea so I can dunk them.
4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
Being as ditsy as I am I had to google this one and I'm still pretty lost for an answer

Daisie turns 3!

 ***WARNING!! Extra picture heavy post***

Today for Daisie's birthday treat we headed off to London and paid the sea life centre and M&M world a visit.
London didn't seem to be what Daisie thought it would be when we first arrived she kept repeating I want to go to London after a good few times of telling her we are in London she went quiet, We decided to walk from London Victoria to the sea life centre in south bank a long and very busy walk but with the weather being so nice it was nice to spend it walking rather than on a train/bus.
Once we were in the sea life centre we had to walk over a clear walk way that had the tank of sharks underneath Daisie was really hesitant to walk over it as she thought she would fall in bless her :')
Despite the huge que behind us she wasn't in a hurry to walk over just in case she did fall in.
I was pretty disappointed with M&M world, I expected it to be pricey and that wasn't a problem but if the tubes of colours that were £1.99 for 1OOg had scales I'd have purchased some but because they hadn't I wouldn't know how much I have spent until I was paying and that really put me off!
I'd much rather watch what we were spending but I suppose that's were they catch you.
They had some lovely little sets you could buy and better yet you could personalize your m&ms too.

The british 1Ok run London 2O14

Today me and Issy headed to London along with my mum, niece, nephews and sister in-law to support and cheer on my big brother in the British 1Ok!
Sadly we didn't pick the greatest of spots and only saw him start off and missed him crossing the finish line while we scrambled our way there :(
It started to rain so we headed under the bridge to keep dry, just as my brother was coming up right at the other side my mum happened to get poo'd on by a pigeon LMAO!

Wow the emotions!
Before the race had even started I was welling up, THEN seeing each different story with people running with one leg, colostomy bags, full army wear just wow!
It took all I had not to run up to them and just give them a massive hug.
During the run Issy asked why we couldn't run so we plan to take part in some kind of run/walk next year too.
With not much training due to an ingury my brother still managed to complete the full 1Ok in O.5O.56 being a new personal best
Needless to say I am one very proud little sister :)

My brother ran in aid of help for heroes and it's not to late to donate you can do so 'here'

Stretch marks!!

I managed two pregnancies with the same stretchmarks on my bum, thighs and navel piercing but they were hardly noticeable, very few and never seen by anyone other than me and Andy.
When they were at their most visible I kept hearing lots about aloe vera gel so went and grabbed some, what was there to lose? AMAZING! after using it twice my stretchmarks were a lot less visible with a white appearance and until pointed out went un-noticed.
Then I suddenly go up to a size 12 and there's some cheeky ones gleaming at me on my hips and down at the back/side of my knees.
The knee ones being the ones that bother me most because with it being a summer these pins of mine come out, Which makes me very paranoid that the world can see them because currently they are a deep red/purple with the bottoms of my legs tattooed most people tend to have a peek and read the poem down the back of my leg and there right at the top is the stretchmarks,
Remembering I still had some trusty aloe Vera gel to hand, I rummaged through the Johnson's baby boxes in the bathroom and stuck some on and after two applications my stretchmarks look soo much better!
I've tried to grab a picture of the progress but although they are very visible in person they aren't picked up so well on either my phone or my camera.
You can purchase aloe Vera gel from Holland & Barrett in 2 different sizes
1OOml - £3.99
2OOml - £6.99
not a bad price for something that really works!

Throwback Thursday

Back in 2O12 I took part in London alternative fashion week, I modeled for designer Faye De-Boorder who has designed clothing for Beckii Cruel - http://beckii.co.uk/
British designer Faye de Boorder re-designed the outfit that shot Beckii Cruel to fame in 2009. Cruel wore this ensemble for the first time in her viral hit video 'Danjo'.
You can find more of Faye's design on here website below!

I had the pleasure of modeling along side Amie conradine who can be found in many magazines and covers, Jasz Vegas seen in Killer magic on BBC 3, Lou Spencer and Iska Ithil
